Linda Genereux

Linda Genereux is a first-time Canadian/American filmmaker and an advocate for justice impacted youth and adults.  She was the Co-Producer of the short advocacy film Because I’m Sixteen, created by the New York Center for Juvenile Justice to address the need to raise the age of criminal responsibility from 16-years old in New York State. 

As an outgrowth of her experience with formerly incarcerated students while a special advisor to College Initiative at the Prisoner Reentry Institute/John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2016/2017, she became particularly attune to the importance of the successful reentry for formerly incarcerated individuals in the U.S. Linda has an MSc. in Urban Policy and an MA in Art History. Born in Montreal and raised in Vancouver, Canada, she was an entrepreneur, independent art curator and art writer for the national and international press for many years, and is a photo expert.

Darius (Deezle) Harrison

Darius (Deezle) Harrison was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a producer, engineer and artist in the music industry, Deezle has sold over 75 million records. He co-produced Lil Wayne’s hit single Lollipop, leading to a Grammy award. Deezle’s credits, music contributions and numerous artistic collaborations include co-authoring Drake’s hit In My Feelings, engineering Chris Brown’s single Gimme That and Graffiti, producing Lil Wayne’s hit album Tha Carter III, as well as co-sharing a co-producing credit with Kanye West on Let the Beat Build. His musical contributions to film scores, alongside Donald Harrison include Right to Return and Rachel Getting Married by Academy Award–winning filmmaker, Jonathan Demme.

Laure Sullivan

Laure Sullivan is a Film Editor, Story Consultant and Filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York.  She has worked on feature docs, narratives, and in television. Her editing debut was, Listen Up! The Lives of Quincy Jones. She has won awards including the Cine Golden Eagle, Emmy, and Best Editing WIFF.  

 

Films edited by Laure have premiered at Sundance Film Festival, TIFF, NYFF, Toronto Film Festival, Galway Film Fleadh, etc. She has been invited to the Sundance Producers Lab and has been a part of projects supported by the Sundance Institute, IDFA, ITVS, and NYSCA, etc. 

Paul Wilson

Cinematographer and filmmaker Paul Wilson has worked in film and television production since he was a teenager. In recent years, he has mainly been a Director of Photography for long form documentaries. Paul began his career, working as a cameraman in New York for broadcast news, news magazine and investigative TV journalism, winning two local news Emmy Awards. 

 

His work has been supported by the Independent Television Service (ITVS), Sundance Documentary Fund and the NYS Council on the Arts (NYSCA). Paul also coaches an afterschool football team in East Brooklyn.
