Take Action

The Issue

The U.S incarcerates nearly

2 million people, one of the highest incarceration rates in the world.

70 million, about one-in-three adults have an arrest or conviction record.

WDFB tells the stories of

three formerly incarcerated individuals who are community activists making change

in their city to improve conditions for others & break down stereotypes of justice impacted people.

• Protect the dignity of incarcerated women

• Change bail laws

• Restore voting rights to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people

• Support the children of incarcerated parents

• Reform probation and parole
